Looking for a Sign?

When the daffodils start blooming, it's a sure sign that Spring in the Mountains is right around the corner.   This shot is pretty indicative of what we're seeing around Franklin and Otto this very minute.   Soon to bloom will be the Tulips, Bradford Pears and Yellow Bells.   This time of year is awesome....crisp cool mornings in the 30's and sunny afternoons about 60 degrees.

*** Franklin and Otto February 2013 Market Update ***

I am blown away!  In researching the home sales for this report, even I was dumbfounded to see exactly what the market has been doing this year.  There is no doubt - Home Sales are back!   There were 73 home sales from January 1 through March 13, 2013.  Compared to the same year-ago figure of 42 homes, we have a 73.8% increase.  WOW!

Why this increase?  Sellers are aggressively pricing their homes and buyers are jumping in the ring knowing that prices will not stay this low for long.  Foreclosures and low interest rates are also having an impact.  Price is driving the market and we are actually beginning to see multiple offers on homes - unheard of over the past 5 years!
